STEM League

PCTI STEM Engineering students competed against nine other schools including Northern Highlands, Bernards, Mahwah, Westwood, Waldwick, Paramus, Bloomfield, Ramsey, and Springfield in a high-energy engineering competition that put real-world problem solving to the test. Students were presented with an engineering challenge on the day of the event and had only a few hours to brainstorm, research, complete physics problems, and move from concept to execution.

Working under a tight deadline, the team designed, built, and tested a working prototype, then presented their solution to a panel of judges. PCTI STEM Engineering earned 2nd place, finishing just one point shy of the top spot, an impressive result that highlights the students’ technical skill, teamwork, and ability to perform under pressure.
