Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools is proud to recognize PSEG as the 2025-2026 Business Partner of the Year, honoring a strong and growing collaboration focused on student opportunity, workforce readiness, and community impact. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to connecting classroom learning with meaningful exposure to careers in the energy industry.
PSEG has consistently demonstrated that investing in students is an investment in the communities it serves. Through hands-on engagement, career exploration, and early hiring pathways, PSEG has helped create real opportunity by connecting PCTVS students to education, industry exposure, and clear career pathways that can create lasting impact for individuals and families.
A highlight of this partnership was the first-ever PSEG Day, hosted in collaboration with PCTI’s School of Construction Technology. More than 75 students participated in interactive demonstrations and career panels to learn about skilled trade paths in the energy workforce. At the end of the day, seven students received on-the-spot job offers, a powerful example of what’s possible when education and industry work together with purpose.
As this collaboration continues, PCTVS and PSEG remain focused on deepening experiential learning opportunities, expanding early engagement, and ensuring students are prepared not only academically, but professionally, to succeed. PCTVS is grateful to PSEG for its commitment to workforce development and looks forward to building on this partnership in the years ahead.
