  •  The School Counseling Department is providing an after-school support program for all interested PCTVS students.   • Attention students interested in joining PCTVS's Color Guard. Try outs for next year's squad will be Thursday May 2nd in the STEM gymnasium. All proceeds will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide. So wear your jeans and your green and help promote mental health awareness.     Highlights: Congratulations to the Freshman Baseball team on improving their record to 7-4-1 after beating Bergen Tech yesterday by a score of 10-0 with a 5th inning walk off laser by Kevin Thorpe. Dean Mari threw a fantastic game on the mound with some relief from Jackson Burger. The Bulldogs were led offensively with great at bats by Vincenzo Caruso, Colin Hietenan, John Galka, and Andres Urdaneta. The Freshman Bulldogs take on Lakeland this friday on the road. The Bulldogs were led by Nate Harris who recorded his 500th career face-off win to go along with 1 goal and 1 assist. Congratulations Nate! The defense continued to shine behind Nick Miraglia and Joe Kwiecinski. Net minder Anthony Klimczuk recorded 9 saves in the win.

  • The Student Council / Interact Club is hosting a Mother's Day Flower Pot sale. All proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization committed to ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preventable preterm birth and infant death and closing the health equity gap for all families. Flower pots will be an assortment of geraniums, petunias and impatiens available in two sizes: 5" pot for .00 or a 6.5" pot for .00. Orders can be placed Monday, April 8th - Monday, April 29th by seeing a Student Council member, Mrs. Rettenbert or Ms. Sillman, as well as scanning flyers posted around school or using the following link. Orders will be delivered to PCTVS and picked up in the Auditorium Lobby on Friday, May 10th.

  • Congratulations to our STEM Students for winning in the NJ Skills competitions. Muhammad Haseeb, Brahin Uddin, and Avi Shah took home silver. Haley Mody, Tahrin Ferdaush, Anya Tripathi, Daniel Domiciano, Namia Ahmed took home bronze. Ahmad Abuzid, Nicole Murren, & Steven Igielski took home silver. Shafi Khandakar took home Gold and will be competing in nationals in Atlanta, Georgia in June.
  • Congratulations to the PCTVS Jazz Band! On Saturday night, the PCTVS Jazz Band performed at the NJAJE State HS Jazz Band Finals Festival. The night was filled with amazing performances by some of the state's best high school Jazz Bands. The band sounded great, and once again, the PCTVS Jazz Band received the Outstanding Rhythm Section Award. Kudos to the Jazz Band for their outstanding achievements!

The defense was led by Emely Jimenez Abreu as she returned an interception for a touchdown. Come support the team Wednesday night as they take on Eastside on Senior Night!

Other offensive contributors were Samih Abbassi with 7 kills, James Ren chipped in 6 kills, and Gavin Wong added 5 kills. Elliot Rivera paced the offense with 39 assists to go along with 5 kills. The defense was led by Leo Nizama with 12 digs, Michael Egusquiza added 10 digs, Jayden Vasquez contributed 5 digs, and Arman Aydin had 5 digs as well. The team's next game is at home today vs Eastside. Go Bulldogs!

    Highlights: The girls golf team evened their record at 4-4 by topping Wayne Valley at Preakness Valley golf course Tuesday. The team was led by Sofia Pangan who shot 46 and Thea Westhelle who shot a career low 48. Morgan Lee, Sophia Volpe and Sherry Stuherck were also contributors in the victory. The girls wil compete in the Big North Tournament this Thursday at Valley Brook Golf Course.
